I am loving this high contrast style. 
Well, so after about maybe a week and a half of mindlessly wandering around in Mt. Coronet and generally being lost, I finally found my way to Spear Pillar today, and caught Palkia. I swear, aside from the one minute I spent gawking at it, and contemplating it's really odd roar, it only took about 10 seconds to catch. Literally.
I personally don't think Palkia was suffering. Aside from sounding constipated, hesh seemed pretty glad to come out of the parallel universe. Must be pretty boring there. Nothing but space (aka. vacume, not matter).
Ps. Palkia's favorite game is Spore. It has to be Spore.

This contrast effect looks awesome! Maybe you can try toning down a bit on the background or making Palkia's outline a bit clearer, though? It gets a bit lost sometimes, especially on Palkia's shadowed side.
And haha, Palkia has the best cry. GAGYAGUBAH is the perfect name for it too. And yeaa, Dialga/Palkia are insanely easy to catch, it's really weird! Giratina is harder though for some strange reason.
